![]() WHY DID I HAVE TO KNOW THAT YOU GOT INJURED THROUGH MY BOYFRIEND. “JAEMIN! WHY DID YOU NOT IMMEDIATELY LET ME KNOW THAT YOU GOT INJURED. He hits the call button, and almost immediately, Donghyuk picks up. Donghyuk could be a lot to handle sometimes, but he was Jaemin’s best friend for a reason. ![]() Jaemin lets out a long sigh, and decides to call Donghyuk. He finds that his soccer team’s group chat has blown up with several texts, as well as three missed calls from Donghyuk and text from Jeno as well. He sighs, then decides to check it because he hasn’t checked it since his mother rushed him to the emergency room during the game. Later, when Jaemin is hobbling around the kitchen, his phone starts to buzz incessantly. “Well, we’ll see if he’s up for it tomorrow morning.” Jaemin gives a small smile back. “That works for me! I don’t know about Jisung though, he hates having to wake up early.” he answers. Oh right, I can’t even drive anymore because of my leg, he thinks. “Here, why don’t I drop you and Jisung off tomorrow early so you can tell Coach Lee that you can’t play the rest of the season?” You need rest right now,” she reprimands. “Well Jaemin, I would advise you to not dwell upon what happened too much. “Oh! Sorry, I was just reviewing some of my plays in my head.” He does not realize that he has arrived home until his mother very concernedly waves her hand in his face and asks if anything was wrong. Maybe he should have taken that opportunity to pass the ball to YangYang. How did the ref let that kid intercept him out of nowhere? He was used to the antics of the Eagles, but the ref at the game was obviously biased toward them, which completely turned the tide. Jaemin, once again, finds himself in his thoughts. ![]() “Well, if you do ever need anything, honey, just let me know.” I think I just need to get some rest tonight.” He blinks a bit then turns to answer her, “No, thank you. Do you want to stop by to get food or something else, honey?” his mother asks as she takes her seat in the car. “Jaemin sweetie, I’m sorry that your season got cut short like this. The Eagles were a tough team, not only because their defense was solid, but because they were also notorious for pulling illegal moves on the field. But, he was mostly furious at himself that he got injured at a soccer game during his peak high school year.Īt least my team won, he thought to himself. Suffice to say, he was still a little peeved that the cocky sophomore team on the opposing team managed to trip him up during the game, which led to his unfortunate result of a broken fibula. Jaemin’s head still rang from the emergency room appointment earlier. All you have to do is shake their hand, hold eye contact, nod your head, and politely say, "Oh, thank you SO much for coming! When can I see you again?" If they ask, "Oh, is the party over?" simply respond with, "Yeah, unfortunately, but how about that exit music, huh?" Then, slowly, take their drinks, walk them towards the exit, and let the music smooth out any social awkwardness that might have otherwise occurred.“I regret to inform you that your son has broken his fibula.” Will a song, on its own, make your guests vacate? No, but it will provide a soothing, on-message soundtrack as you walk around to each person, thanking them for coming and forcefully bidding them adieu. while simultaneously letting them know their presence is no longer desired. Fortunately for you, I have a few recommendations for songs that will gently thank your guests for attending. You don't want to just yell at everybody to get out, but you have to make it clear that it's time to go: you need a song to end this party. The party was a success! All of your closest friends showed up, only two people got obnoxiously drunk, and a few lucky couples made out with each other on your roommate's bed! The thing is, you're getting tired, your neighbor keeps knocking on the door to complain about all the noise, and one of those obnoxious drunks just started vomiting in your backyard.
